After this story about Eric appeared in the Toronto Star on Tuesday, Eric appeared on CTV twice recently—last night on CTV National News with Lloyd Robertson, and again this morning on Canada AM (both clips are available at that link). This morning he solved a cube on air and pretty much blew everyone in the studio away.

Awesome, Eric. You looked so totally cool (if I can use an expression from the last generation, eh).

Another fun game last Sunday, and the team is really starting to look good. We worked on the new play calling system some more (check out the sample play, Right Side Out Corner), and I think the guys are starting to see the advantages of getting into and out of the huddle in a couple of seconds.

I've contacted Gerry to inquire about the exhibition game. If it is going to take place, it will be on Wednesday the 1st. Gerry will let us know soon. The problem, of course, is getting enough guys willing and/or able to show up on a weeknight. On both teams.

There are still two weeks left before the start of the regular season, and we'll just carry on with our normal 11:00 Sunday Football games until then. Map: Sandford Fleming.
